Supplies you’ll need for How To Make A Summer Wreath With Cocktail Umbrellas and where to easily find them:
- 9 inch foam wreath base – https://amzn.to/3uNAswi
- Bulk cocktail umbrellas – https://amzn.to/3oNsHlX
- String or ribbon to hang it up – https://amzn.to/3C6vpHT – I use this gold embossed string for a ton of projects!
Step one: Gather your supplies
This is the part where we get everything ready. Luckily there aren’t many supplies. You”ll need your foam wreath base and your cocktail umbrellas.
Step two: Opening all the umbrellas
You can see in the picture here, the umbrellas have a tiny rubber band around the wooden pick. This band will be used to secure the umbrella underneath so it doesn’t slide down. Gently open up the umbrella and secure the underpart by sliding the little rubber band up the stick.
I used about 40 umbrellas for this wreath. Go ahead and open a bunch, and then open more as you go to continue to fill the wreath up.
Step three: Creating your summer wreath with cocktail umbrellas
Here you will add your umbrellas to your foam wreath base. One at a time, poke your umbrella’s pick in to the foam. You’ll want the umbrellas to overlap a little to hide the foam wreath. Keep adding cocktail umbrellas until your wreath is full and you are satisfied with how it looks.
Step four: Add a string to tie it up!
If you have a some string or ribbon laying around, add a little loop around the foam wreath so you can hang your wreath easier.
Here you’ve learned How To Make A Summer Wreath With Cocktail Umbrellas! Put your colorful and beautiful summer wreath somewhere where everyone will be able to see it and love it!
