Supplies needed and where to find them:

Step one: Gather your supplies
I recommend getting two packs of magnetic letters. This way you’ll have plenty of multiples of letters and you’re not stuck with only one letter each!
Step two: Setting up
Get yourself some scrap paper or newspaper and set it outside. Spread all of your magnetic letters out, face down on your newspaper. It is absolutely best to spray paint outside!
Step three: Painting your DIY Gold Magnetic Letters
I did the bottom first and made sure to spray paint the sides really well. Allow the paint to dry for an hour or two, or longer if needed.
Flip the letters over so they’re all facing up and spray a good, even coat on each letter. Allow your letters to dry for an hour or two. I am always an advocate for the second coat of paint. After your first layer of paint has dried, spray another nice, even coat over your letters and allow that coat to dry too.
Step four: Fancy up the fridge with your awesome new DIY Gold Magnetic Letters!
Think of all the nice – or mischevious messages you could leave and they’ll look so fancy!
